AIR OPTIX® FOR ASTIGMATISM TORIC CONTACT LENSES
Air Optix for Astigmatism
Air Optix Astigmatism contacts are used for correcting nearsightedness (myopia) and farsightedness (hyperopia) in people who have astigmatism, a common eye condition where blurred vision is caused due to the cornea not being equally curved in all parts of its surface. Air Optix toric lenses are highly stable and provide crisp vision, and are FDA approved for daily wear or up to 6 continuous nights. Lenses can be replaced or worn again after cleaning and disinfecting, according to advice given by your eye doctor.
Air Optix for Astigmatism contact lenses are produced using state of the art material that comprises around 33% water and 67% lotrafilcon B, a second generation silicone hydrogel which greatly improves comfort through breathability and moisture retention. The surface is treated permanently with biocompatible plasma and contain a light blue tint for simpler handling.
